The people have spoken, their hero has returned.
At every wine dinner we host, former customers of Cave Taureau always ask about Noel Sherr. Well, guess what? He’s doing great! Noel is now the National Sales Manager for Bonhomie Imports, a small importer based in New York. Bonhomie doesn’t do trends. Their book represents artisanal winemaking by family growers who attempt to transmit the terroir to the bottle, without artifice. Their book ranges from Champagne in the North, to Southern Italy, Spain and Portugal, with carefully chosen producers at each stop.
Come and enjoy an evening with Noel tasting some great wines, with a paired menu designed by Chef Todd Whitney. The wines will be available for sale at special pricing that evening, some for the first (and maybe only) time in NC.
The featured wines will be:
Jean Velut Champagne Blanc de Blancs “Lumiere et Craie” NV
Moissenet-Bonnard Bourgogne Blanc “Les Chazots” 2014
Domaine Petitot Ladoix “Vielles Vignes” 2015
Plani Arche Sagrantino di Montefalco 2011
Az. Ag. Viviani Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2012
The dinner will begin at 7pm, and will be priced at $69 per person. As always, seating is limited and will go quickly. Call the restaurant today at 919-682-8844 to reserve your place at the table!
